TASTY BEEF STROGANOFF REVEALED!!

When I first tasted Ila Puti's very own stroganoff, I was apalled of how it tasted uber good that I kept coming back.
But since I'm miles away from the place, I decided to make one for ourselves. I failed a couple of times, and
after weeks of practice, I finally got it!!!!
So i'd like to share how I made the delicious beef stroganoff, much like the one in Ila Puti , one of my favorite restaurant ^_^


BEEF STROGANOFF:
serving size: 7-10

Ingredients:
1/2 kilo beef stroganoff cuts
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/8 cup vinegar
2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
rosemary
1 small sachet of Maggi Magic Sarap
2 tbsp butter
2 tbsp minced garlic
1/4 cup diced shallots
1 small can button mushrooms , sliced
2 tsp nutmeg

for the white sauce:
combine,
1 1/2 packs Nestle All Purpose Cream (if you'd want less fat, go with the yellow package ^^)
1/2 cup Sour Cream , (or 1/4 cup lemon juice + 1/2 cup all purpose cream if not available)


Procedure:

1. Marinate. Combine beef stroganoff cuts, soy sauce, vinegar, worcestershire sauce, Magic Sarap and
a pinch of rosemary for better aroma. leave on for 3-4 hours or more
2. Saute. Place butter in a heated saucepan, then the minced garlic, and after a few seconds, the shallots. Then place the
marinated beef with a little marinated sauce and saute until beef is tender. set aside
3. In another saucepan, saute the sliced button mushrooms and the nutmeg for a few minutes. Add the beef mixture and simmer
for a few minutes. After a while, add the white sauce mixture to the saucepan and stir for a few minutes until it boils.
Add blackpepper and salt to taste ^^... then serve while hot. enjoy!!
